Ingredients (all available at Tesco or M&S!):
200g digestive biscuits
100g unsalted butter
100g dark chocolate (or milk, if she prefers!)
2 tbsp golden syrup
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Optional: handful of mini marshmallows, dried fruit, or sprinkles for decoration
Method:
Crush the digestive biscuits into small pieces in a large bowl.
In a saucepan, gently melt the butter, chocolate, golden syrup, and cocoa powder together over a low heat, stirring until smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the crushed biscuits and mix well. Add any optional extras.
Press the mixture firmly into a lined tin (approx. 20cm square).
Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Once set, cut into squares and present to Mum!
